Workforce Integration

Staff (Employees in Training) with developmental disabilities are provided intensive skills training that promotes movement to more productive and responsible assembly employment. Some may transition from piece-rate pay to a commensurate hourly rate after demonstrating acquired skills for performing assigned tasks more independently. At this stage, Employees in training will benefit from an integrated setting where they can work side by side with experienced electronic assembly co-workers. This is a valuable work experience for those who will pursue competitive employment in the community.
