Alpha Productions provides a variety of job opportunities with an emphasis on electronic assembly. Complex assembly products are broken into component steps, which permits individuals to perform specific stages of the assembly process. Techniques, including 1:1 training on the use of tools, machinery, and adaptive devices, allow individuals to complete their specific stage of the assembly while maintaining a high level of quality control.
Alpha provides a variety of work stations throughout the facility. This allows us to match an individual’s training needs with varying levels of staff supervision and training intensity. As new skills are acquired and higher levels of productivity are attained, individuals are able to transition to progressively more independent work settings.
Individual program planning is provided in coordination with each person’s support team. Staff utilize computer tablets at the work stations to record and monitor individual performance data, allowing data-based decision making to determine progress toward individual goals. Empirically proven Positive Behavior Support (PBS) strategies are employed to increase productivity, independence, and job satisfaction.
